Applicability of general terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to all agreements you conclude with Kiteoutlet, whether it concerns the delivery of articles or the delivery of services. By ordering you indicate that you agree to the general terms and conditions of delivery.

Delivery & Delivery costs

We deliver the items* within the Netherlands via TNT parcel post as long as the stock lasts. As a rule, the delivery time for an item is 2 to 4 working days from the order date.

If you receive items that you have not ordered, you should inform Kiteoulet as soon as possible. Should you encounter any inaccuracies in the information you provide, please inform Kiteoutlet. You must also inform Kiteoutlet of any changes or inaccuracies in your details that you have provided, so that they can be adjusted in our customer database.

  • Items up to 140 cm via TNT Post: outer and underwear, shoes, accessories, costs: € 4.95 per order.
  • You pay a contribution to the delivery costs once per order, regardless of the number of items ordered.
  • If you keep the entire order or a part of the order, we will charge the delivery costs.
  • In the event of an exchange, you do not have to pay the delivery costs again.
  • When returning the entire order, the delivery costs are forfeited and you only pay the direct costs of returning. These costs are in principle as high as the delivery costs.


You can of course also choose to pick up the ordered items.

Prices and payment methods

The prices at the time of ordering an article are applicable. All prices are inclusive of the statutory VAT, but exclusive of any delivery costs. The items are sent by iDEAL or bank transfer. However, Kiteoutlet reserves the right, based on the results of a credit rating study, to exclude certain payment methods at any time.

Right to free exchange and refund

You can return all the items you have purchased in the kiteoutlet webshop to us without giving any reasons and within 7 working days of receipt of the items*. Please note that in the event of exchange or return, the items delivered may only be used for control purposes and that the items with the original labels and labels must be returned. If any reduction in value occurs because the items have been used in contravention of the above provisions, we reserve the right to demand reasonable compensation from you for this.

After the period of 7 days you can no longer return your purchase without reason. It is up to you to prove that you exercised your right of return in a timely manner. We therefore recommend that you ensure that you are in possession of a receipt or similar document.

The amount paid will be refunded to your bank account within 5 working days upon return.

Consequences of restitution

In case of depreciation of an item, Kiteoutlet may claim compensation from you. This does not apply if the depreciation of an article can only be attributed to the application and checking of the article as would have been possible in a shop.

Rejecting an order

Kiteoutlet is free not to accept online orders. The choice not to accept orders is entirely up to Kiteoutlet and can be made without motivation. If Kiteoutlet does not accept an online order, you will immediately be informed by Kiteoutlet.

Protection of personal data & creditors

The data necessary for the processing of your order will be stored. In the context of the processing of the order, data may be passed on to companies affiliated with us or to companies that perform part of our services (TNT Post).

Kiteoutlet reserves the right to carry out an analysis of the data provided by you and to offer an alternative payment method on the basis of the information obtained. No correspondence can be entered into in respect of any decisions or conclusions.

Of course, all your personal data will be treated in the strictest confidence and the legal rules regarding the protection of personal data and privacy will be strictly observed by us. Kiteoutlet will not sell or pass on your personal data to third parties.

In cases where personal data are provided by us to third parties, they are not entitled to use these data for any other purpose than for the performance of their task. The third parties with whom Kiteoutlet works are bound by Kiteoutlet terms and conditions, in which your privacy is guaranteed.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the Dutch statutory guarantee provisions apply.


Kiteoutlet does not accept any liability towards you for any damage other than in the event that its liability insurance covers the damage and in so far as the insurer, if applicable, pays out. Apart from the cases referred to above, liability shall always be limited to a maximum of the amount of the purchase price of the relevant item(s). In no case shall the compensation referred to in this clause exceed € 1,000.

Kiteoutlet is never liable for consequential damage.

Force majeure

In a situation of force majeure, the obligations of kiteout athlete are suspended. If the period in which the force majeure occurs is longer than two months, both you and Kiteoutlet have the right to terminate the agreement. This shall take place without any obligation to pay compensation. Among other things, force majeure applies in the event of strikes, illness among employees, transport disruptions and import/export bans, regardless of whether this occurs at Kiteoutlet or at its suppliers.
